Assuming you got the correct strut from Amazon if you have the # LC280343 on your RV currently this should be the correct replacement. There isn't an easy way to install these wrong as well so it's also possible the ones you got are bad. If I had to take a guess, I would say the batteries are dead. This is rather common when someone goes to get in their camper after it sits in the offseason for a few months. I know you said you have power to the lights but the lights only consume a very small amount of power to function so it's likely there's enough power for the lights, but not the awning motor which draws much more. I recommend a full battery charge before proceeding with troubleshooting.

I was able to reach out to my contact at Lippert, who manufacture the Solera awnings and they mentioned a few things that you could try to try to tighten up the fabric on your awning if it has been stretched out over time, but there isn't a way to manually adjust the tension on an awning like the # LCV000163279 .

Awning rails are the rails that are above the slide out that the slide topper like part # LCV000163290 would attach to. They are not the same as the rain gutter. You have to have this on your RV to install a slide topper and we do not carry them.

It sounds like you either have a lose connection or a just a bad controller. I would start by ensuring your wires are making full contact in the controller and the motor and that you don't have any cuts or damage in the wires along the way that could be causing a short. Check to see if there's power at the motor while pressing the extend or retract buttons to narrow down the issue to the controller or wiring between the motor and the controller. I am not sure what awning you have, but there are a couple things you can check out depending on when the fuse is blowing.
If it is blowing almost immediately upon putting a new fuse in, there is likely a short in the wiring and you would want to inspect your wiring to try and find the short.

If your fuse for your Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning # LC517517 is blowing as soon as you replace the old one, then there is a short circuit somewhere, or there is an unusually high amp draw.
Since you're saying the fuse blows immediately, then it is almost certainly a short circuit, because a high amp draw will allow the load to run a bit and then blow.

To retention your Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000168109 you'll want to extend the slide out and can then get on a ladder and get up to the arms. You'll disconnect the extension rod # LC3452072 from the arm and then can roll the arm 12 - 16 times towards the trailer and slip a pin or small screwdriver through the slot in the connection point between the arms and the roller tube to lock the arm in place and then reconnect it to the extension rod.

The reason why the extension rod of your Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000168107 is touching the corner flange piece is either because you have too large of an awning installed or the awning isn't centered on the slide out. If the tension isn't properly split between the two rods then it will pull too much on one side and start touching the flange. Too large of an awning places the extension rods too far out in the mounting brackets and they start to bend.

With the cover still off plug it back in and try to operate it if it works put the cover back on.
